I am a working mom of two school-aged children. My husband and I have always enjoyed traveling together, with me planning out elaborate itineraries in exciting locations (I planned five separate honeymoons before we decided on the one we took). I love learning about places, with details from both insiders and other tourists, and planning trips where we’ll feel like we got to appreciate a place, even if we didn’t see every sight.
As our children have gotten older, we’ve enjoyed seeing the world with them. We have a strict “no complaining” policy that they’ve done remarkably well with, allowing us to enjoy our adventures and create special memories together.
